Lady

She dwells in clouds, haunts my mind

With magic eyes true and kind.

Taught by wounds to tread with care

Can she see my heart laid bare?

My words reach to touch her

Fall in helpless autumn flutter

Spiraling, dying on the ground

As music without a sound.

My heart a willing pen

Speaks of love within

Of truth sweet, longing deep

Flung upon the castle’s keep.

Her smile holds the only key

Set my weary spirit free

With lips of mystical alloy

Grant my heart abounding joy.

Speak to me in golden tone

Call my longing spirit home.

To sit forever at your feet

Is raptured bliss complete.
