As far as I am concerned Enrique’s Mexican Restaurant is place to eat in Kuna, Idaho. I go there every chance I get and fall in love with it all over again. I like to try something new every time I go, but some of the dishes too good to not repeat.
My personal favorite is the Molcajete Camarones Borrachos…yum. Plump, juicy shrimp sautéed with diced onions, mushrooms, sliced jalapeños, tomatoes and ranchera sauce. Flamed with white wine and topped with melted jack cheese. It comes bubbling in a stone bowl and is out of this world good.
Come early on Friday and Saturday night because there is going to be a crowd. Believe me it’s worth the wait. They are open 10 AM to 9 PM seven days a week. The staff there is super friendly and very helpful.
Like tequila…who doesn’t, right? Enrique’s has a tequila locker. Buy locker, stock it with your own bottle and they will engrave your name on the locker in a huge glass case. Or attend a tequila tasting event at Enrique’s. I went to the one for Casamigos. Shots to try, margaritas, and a three course meal in their private dining room. By the end of the evening, this was a very happy crowd.
